During a late house party in the summer of 2013, the previously formed trio of Stokely Howard, Ed Richardson and Sam Jenkins found a unique and exciting voice in the shape of Dan Holmes (#Dangirl) who showed new-found confidence in his ability to sing - either that or he may have had (at least) one too many to drink! 

 

After playing together for the first time it was obvious that something clicked, which could be down to the shared musical influences or because they are all great friends. Such influences include the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro, Kings of Leon and Foo Fighters. 

 

This four piece band from Norwich inspirationally fuse their musical tastes to form a genre best described as alternative indie rock. Due to their willingness to work and play hard, new material is constantly flowing out of Empire Nights, who have recently released two singles 'Light Emitting Thing' and 'Sun Comes Up' on their Soundcloud and Facebook pages. They are also working hard on an upcoming EP which will hopefully be released in August.
